Pick-up point on the bus

There is a pick-up point on the outside of the buses in certain transport areas. Here you can quickly and easily collect the subscription, discount card or credit you purchased in the webshop. After that you can travel with the bus immediately!

This is how it works

Buy your desired travel product in the webshop. You will soon receive an e-mail with the message that you can collect your subscription, discount card or credit at a pick-up point.
Go to a bus stop where a bus equipped with a pick-up point stops.
When the bus has stopped, hold your OV-chipkaart against the pick-up device for 3 seconds. The device will beep when your product is loaded. One product is loaded at a time, so if you want to load more than one product, you have to wait 3 seconds for the beep per product. The device indicates when all products have been picked up.
Your subscription, discount card or credit is now on your OV-chipkaart and you can check in immediately.

Which buses have a pick-up point?

Maybe you've already come across the pick-up point on the bus, for example in Amstelland Meerlanden. We are working on equipping all our buses with a pick-up point.
