Travelling with an e-ticket

E-tickets are tickets that you purchase online through our website or the @Transdev app. When you buy an e-ticket via the website, you will receive your ticket by email. You can either print the digital file or show it on your smartphone. The barcode must be scannable for it to serve as a valid travel ticket.

Checking in and out

You can find a barcode on all our e-tickets. Use this barcode to check in and out in the bus.
  1. Place the barcode underneath the validator in the bus.
  2. Make sure the little red light of the validator hits the middle of the barcode.
  3. As soon as the validator screen turns green, you can take a seat.
  4. Repeat the steps above to check out when leaving the bus.
Please note: when presenting the e-ticket on your smartphone, make sure the brightness level of your screen is is high as possible.

Bring valid proof of identity

Always take your e-ticket and a valid identity document with you when you travel. You are obliged to be able to show both. The date on your e-ticket must correspond with your actual travel date. The following proofs of identity are valid at Connexxion:
  • Passport;
  • Driver's license;
  • Municipal or European identity card;
  • Wedding booklet.
The identification obligation applies to everyone 14 years and older.
If you buy more than 1 ticket, the identification of the main booker whose name appears on all e-tickets is required.

Purchase and confirmation email

You can buy an e-ticket in our webshop or through the @Transdev app. Once you have filled in the details, you can pay via iDeal, VISA, Mastercard (credit card only), American Express, Sofort Banking or Bancontact. 

Order through the website
After payment, you will receive the e-ticket in your email within a few minutes. Sometimes the confirmation email is seen as spam, so check your unwanted emails as well.

Order through the @Transdev app
After payment, you will receive the tickets directly in the app.

No confirmation email within a few minutes? Please contact our customer service. They can verify if the order was completed successfully and resend the email with the e-ticket if necessary.

Bought the wrong e-ticket?

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund an e-ticket or change the travel details on it.
